PhD project: Dynamos in rapidly rotating turbulence
Project description
This project will look at models and balances of magnetic field generation in rapidly rotating turbulent flows. This problem is of relevance to the generation of magnetic field of planets and some stars. We will use computational and theoretical models to derive and solve models of balanced dynamics and compare with the solutions of the full sets of partial differential equations.
